Heartland Classes
Nursery — The nursery is a loving and safe place for your infant. Children can be placed in the nursery from the time they are born until they are walking more than they are crawling. Moms and Dads who need a place to feed or change an infant are welcome to use the nursery. If you are not quite ready to leave your child, please know that infants are certainly welcome in the auditorium.
Yellow Room – The yellow room welcomes those little ones transitioning from the nursery once they begin to walk. They are read a Bible story, listen to music, and eat a snack. Their time is spent moving around the room to explore toys and friends!
Red Room – This is a fun and active place for your toddler. Children who are 2 and 3 years old are welcome in Clubhouse Red. Each week your toddler will experience an age-appropriate Bible story, craft, music, and games. Be sure to ask your toddler what they learned during circle time!
Blue Room — This is the place for your four year old. In Clubhouse Blue, children will enjoy music and worship, story time, a craft, snack and a game. They will also have time to play on their own and with other friends. Each week’s activities focus on one Bible story and are integrated to reinforce the day’s teaching.
Orange Room — Your five or six year old (not yet in first grade) will love the Orange Room. They get to experience large group worship and teaching with the “big kids” in Clubhouse 14 (see below), and then they work together in their own classroom to make the day’s teaching come to life. The story, game, craft, and snack all work together to reinforce the day’s teaching.
Clubhouse “14″ — First through forth graders love the atmosphere of Clubhouse “14.” Each day begins with large group worship and creative teaching which often includes a drama or dance performed by students in Clubhouse “56”. Students then break into smaller groups to work through the day’s teaching using a variety of different methods. One week they might cook, and the next they might undertake a science experiment. It’s all designed to help them apply God’s teaching to their everyday lives. Read more about our curriculum.
Clubhouse “56” – While the fifth and sixth graders join Clubhouse “14” for large group worship, they also have their own space to connect with others their age. They can discuss and apply the weekly lessons at their level. Their topics and activities align to the younger students, but encourage them to consider what this looks like in their daily lives.
