Fred Bays - Lead Pastor
Fred is a gifted leader and is passionate about reaching out to people who don’t know God and helping them become all that God made them to be. Fred loves people, but sports and food are right up there also. His primary responsibilities are to build the team of leaders and communicate the vision of where God wants to take us, Fred has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Anderson University and a Master of Divinity from AUSOT. He was a youth pastor for 10 years before starting Northeast. Fred is married to Dyan, who is also a Buckeye. They have 3 children: Chelsea, Seth & Luke. fred@northeastcc.org
Rolland Daniels – Associate Pastor
Rolland is passionate about reaching people who are not living for God and developing them into leaders for Jesus. Rolland infuses hope in everyone he meets, even his wife, who he convinced to run a full marathon as a celebration for turning 50! His primary responsibilities are to develop leaders so we can expand our reach on the Northeast side of Indy and teach. Rolland is pursuing his Doctorate full-time at Ball State University. Rolland pastored churches in Michigan and Dayton before joining the Northeast team. Rolland is married to Ellen, who claims to run faster than Rolland. They have 2 grown sons that are in college: Tyler & Seth.

Kris Bowers - Executive Pastor
Kris is gifted in organizing things, everything from people to systems. She is passionate about about having a strategy and working it, because those are the steps to progress. She’s also a very loyal IU fan. Her primary responsibilities are leading the strategic operations of the church, the office, and finances. Kris has an MBA from Butler University and previous marketplace experience. Kris volunteers full time for Northeast. Kris is married to Brian, who is a loyal Purdue grad. Heather Hacker - Children’s Pastor
Heather is passionate about children and encouraging parents. She also loves hanging out with friends and family, but could easily curl up with a good book. Her primary responsibility is leading Heartland Children’s ministry. Heather has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Marian College. She taught for 9 years and has spent 5 years in administration for Archdiocesan schools. Heather is now on staff part-time. Heather is married to Bruce, who is a loyal IU fan. Steve Harris - Connect Groups Leader
Steve has a heart for people and enjoys helping them feel valued. He has been a part of Northeast for the last nine years and has served in various leadership capacities including as a Trustee, connection group leader, and a teacher in the 5th/6th grade classroom. Steve loves sports and spending time with family and friends. He is married to Jenni and they have one son, Aden. steve@northeastcc.org.
Candace Stephenson - Student Ministry Leader
Candace has a heart for teenagers. A former recording artist, she pours into the lives of students and student ministries around the country. Candace is a graduate of Anderson University with a degree in Communication. She and her husband, Andy, also serve as house church pastors and Candace is a vocalist on the worship team. Andy and Candace have been married since 2005 and have one child, Mackenzie. Candace is on staff part-time leading Northeast's student ministry. candace@northeastcc.org
Kathryn Henricksen - Worship Team Leader
Kathryn has a desire for people to connect with God through the medium of fine arts. She started singing in church at age three, began teaching musical theater, voice and piano at the age of nineteen, and continues to teach privately in her studio at home. Kathryn's primary responsibilities are to empower her group of worship leaders and assist in the organization of services. Kathryn and Bob have been married since 1994 and have two children, Peter and Gracie. Bob also serves as a house church pastor. kathryn@northeastcc.org
